I thought Desmond played a good Jesse, but it was sad on how he lost his wife and son with everything happening.

The part where he saves that kid and talks to his future wife and you see the tears in his eyes, it made me weak in the knees, it was so sad.
Also it was so sad to find out that he died before he would find out that something good would come out of it (Allie).
What I do not understand is that he stays in that hospital. What was wrong with him, the others did not have any ill affects after that device was removed from their brains.
I believe that they have cut out the part where he is actually in Vietnam, you could see some shots of that in the extra's on the last DVD.
He had the part that left for me the most question marks.

Wish he was in the film for a longer time. Felt after his role was over, the film dragged along.

Felt after his role was over, the film dragged along. Really? I liked the whole thing. I liked the interview with him in it. I LMAO when he said, yeah I just shot, beat up (what ever it was) the aliens. Plus of course when he screamed, I LMAO on that one, didn't expect that. |
