I actually just finished watching it for the first time. The movie itself wasn't anything special. It didn't scare me just startled me with those oh so cliche "come out of nowhere" clips. I admit the inbred characters creeped me out and the gore was pretty nasty but I've seen better/scarier horror movies.
Okay, all that aside I thought Eliza Dushku and Desmond were very good in it. I really liked both of their characters. In my mind they were the only redeeming factors.
And can I just say how much I love having a dvd player so I could play certain scenes in slow motion. I think I wore out the rewind button just to hear his voice again. In the beginning (before all the craziness) he spoke low almost in a monotone. There is something so inexplicably sexy about it. I kept drooling and sighing the entire time.

got to admit guys after not being on here for a while and then comin bk on after sooo long ya all got me in the mood to watchin a desmond film sooo i started to watch Taken lol...then i worked my way up to Wrong turn and f**k me i loved it just like i watched it for the first time ever lol.
i even watched the behind the scenes hehe oooooo DESMOND!!! lol

I thought it was an AWESOME movie !!!!! Desmond was the star of course, but don't you think him and Eliza are cute together ?!?!? I think it kind of majorly sucks that they're making a Wrong Turn sequel without him though. Gotta love Desmond !!!!!

yeah this is an awesome movie, my first Desi movie that i actually remember of him(I saw Taken before this though but i didn't remember his part until i watched it again). i thought it was funny on the commentary that they kept calling him "the lovely Desmond Harrington" it made me LMAS! ;D Do you think he was kidding about the g- string he said he wore, it's not that unlikely, he wore the rubber underwear with the rubber duck in Love Object ;D  |

Chris Flynn isn't back lol..
But yes this film rocks so freakin' bad...its the one movie that actually scared me when I first saw it and some scenes still freak me out.
Desmond is great in the movie...and he was listening to Queens Of The Stone Age in his nice car, best band ever!

imdb says he is. played by Bro Gilbert. but yeah, imdb isn't accurate, i mean 5.8! WAYY TOO LOWW!!! and they used to list his name as Chris Finn.

Well I don't know what that is about, perhaps...ummm...I dunno.. I agree IMDb isn't accurate always...most of the time, but not always.. And the rating is way to low, I agree but its not down to IMDb, its down to the tons of users on the site, loads of people love the movie, some like it, some dislike it which is to be expected and then you got the trolls! So alot of movies on there have there ratings way to low.. The Chris Finn thing, could that be what Desmond Harrington meant on the commentary or something about Chris Finn...he says its Chris Flynn I tell you! Or something.. |
